Felipe Tosso, Winemaker For Root: 1

As Viña Ventisquero's chief winemaker, Felipe Tosso is the driving force behind the winery's pursuit for ever-increasing quality. He travels the world extensively, enhancing his technical knowledge by spending time in the world's most revered wineries and vineyards in Bordeaux, Napa, Sonoma, and Australia. Felipe's leadership and dedication have been instrumental in Ventisquero's emergence as one of the most awarded Chilean wineries.

After graduating from the Universidad de Chile, Felipe began his career with Concha y Toro where he quickly rose to be the chief winemaker for their Peumo Winery. In 2000, Felipe joined the Viña Ventisquero team charged with creating wines that expressed the very best and most unique characteristics of Chile which gave rise to Root: 1.
